Thomas Partey – Arsenal are set to step up their efforts to sign the Atletico Madrid midfielder (Star, August 15); Arsenal have been dealt a blow in pursuit of the Atletico midfielder after seeing a second bid rejected (Guardian, July 28); Arsenal will only be able to sign Partey this summer if they pay the 27-year-old Ghanaian’s £45m release clause in full (Express, July 26); Arsenal have offered to triple Partey’s wages (Diario AS, July 4);

Gabriel – Arsenak are closing in on the signing of defender Gabriel Magalhaes from Lille (Telegraph, August 16); Arsenal and Manchester United have been dealt a blow in their hopes of signing Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes (Daily Mirror, August 14);

Joelson Fernandes – Arsenal have made no attempt to sign the Sporting Lisbon wonderkid, according to the player’s agent (Sun, August 15); Arsenalare really keen to land Fernandes. The Portugal U17 forward has been dubbed ‘the new Cristiano Ronaldo’ and the Gunners could look to offer cash plus players for his signature (Mirror, August 13).

Qunicy Promes – Arsenal are eyeing a £25m move for the Ajax ace (The Sun, August 12)

Ousmane Dembele – Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is keen for Arsenal to sign Barcelona’s Dembele, according to reports (Daily Mirror, August 4).

Danny Ings – The Southampton striker has been backed as the man to replace Aubameyang at Arsenal should he leave this summer (Daily Star, August 4).

Diego Carlos – Arsenal will step up their recruitment plans after victory in the FA Cup final brought some much-needed clarity to their financial situation, with the Sevilla defender one of their potential targets (Telegraph, August 3).

Wilfried Zaha – The Crystal Palace forward is wanted by Arsenal (Daily Star, August 3).

Ivan Rakitic – Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has reportedly made personal contact with the Croat as he aims to convince the Barcelona star to move to the Emirates (Mirror, Aug 3).

Abdoulaye Doucoure – Arsenal are lining up a swoop for the Watford midfielder (Daily Express, August 1).

Dani Ceballos – Arsenal have been joined in the race for the midfielder by Real Betis (The Sun, August 1); Arsenal are close to agreeing a new loan deal with Real Madrid for the midfielder (Daily Mail, July 29); Spain midfielder Dani Ceballos, 23, would be happy to return to Arsenal next season after helping the Gunners reach the FA Cup final during his loan spell from Real Madrid (Sky Sports, July 21).

Dayot Upamecano – The defender has put pen to paper on a new contract with RB Leipzig in news which will come as a blow to Arsenal and Manchester United (Daily Mirror, August 1).

Philippe Coutinho – Arsenal are seen as ‘only possible solution’ to the Coutinho transfer problem (Mirror, August 12); Arsenal, Tottenham and Leicester are all options for the Barcelona and Brazil midfielder (Sport, July 29); Coutinho has reportedly changed his mind about Arsenal after initially snubbing an approach from the Gunners (Daily Mirror, July 29); Coutinho has asked Arsenal for more time to make a decision over his future, with Tottenham and Leicester interested in the 28-year-old (Sport, July 28); The Brazilian has asked his agent to pause talks until Bayern Munich’s Champions League campaign is complete (Daily Express, July 24).

Alexandre Lacazette – Juventus are interested in signing Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette (Sky Sports, August 16); Lacazette will be on his way to Atletico Madrid for £30m – as soon as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang signs a new Arsenal deal (Daily Star, August 9).

Emiliano Martinez – The Arsenal goalkeeper says 10 clubs in Europe are interested in signing him after the 27-year-old Argentine’s impressive end to the season (Marca, August 15).

Mesut Ozil – Arsenal are angry with Mesut Ozil after the midfielder broke ranks to defend his decision to reject a reduction in his £350,000-per-week wages, while hinting that may be why Mikel Arteta stopped selecting him (Daily Mail, August 14); Arsenal will make a new push to reach an agreement over Ozil’s £18m contract nightmare; Arsenal will reportedly offer to pay the German off or subsidise his £350,000-a-week wages if he moves on to another club (Daily Mirror, August 10); Ozil has rejected an approach from Turkish side Fenerbahce (Bild, July 21)

Ainsley Maitland Niles – The defender may be allowed to leave Arsenal this summer, with three clubs preparing to bid for him (Sky Sports, August 10); Tottenham are eyeing a shock move for the Arsenal academy graduate after he was told he was free to leave the Emirates this summer (Star, August 9); Arsenal have told the midfielder he will be available for a transfer this summer even though Mikel Arteta would prefer the player remains (Telegraph, August 8); Arsenal have put the defender up for sale in a desperate bid to raise money – just days after he helped win them the FA Cup (Sun, August 7); Brighton are eyeing the Arsenal midfielder for a summer move (Mirror, July 31).

Lucas Torreira – AC Milan are plotting another move for Arsenal midfielder Torreira, who could be allowed to leave the club as part of their summer rebuild under Mikel Arteta (Daily Telegraph, August 8).

Matteo Guendouzi – Arsenal will demand £40m for the midfielder after PSG reportedly entered the race for the player (Sun, August 11); The midfielder appears to have no future at Arsenal following his radio silence in the aftermath of the FA Cup final (Star, August 3); Arsenal have explored using the French midfielder as a makeweight in their summer transfer business (Daily Mail, July 1); The wantaway Arsenal midfielder is being lined up for a sensational swap deal with Philippe Coutinho at Barcelona (Mail on Sunday, July 19).

Sokratis Papastathopoulos – The Arsenal defender is reportedly being eyed by German outfit Stuttgart (Sun, July 16).

David Luiz, Cedric Soares and Pablo Mari – The three Arsenal defenders have all signed new contracts. Luiz has agreed a new one-year deal while Mari and Soares have signed permanent, long-term deals from Flamengo and Southampton respectively.

Calum Chambers – Fulham are considering a move to sign Arsenal defender Chambers as they prepare for their return to the Premier League (The Sun, August 12)
